Ocean NR Spectrometer Family

Which NIR spectroscopy wavelength range to choose?

NR 1.7 and NR 1.7HG

900–1700 nm: Ideal for moisture and organic overtone bands; offers lower cost and reduced complexity, making it suitable for routine food quality testing and moisture analysis in agriculture.

NR 2.2 and NR 2.2HG

900–2200 nm: Provides additional chemical specificity through more combination bands; excellent for pharmaceutical analysis or distinguishing between similar polymers in recycling operations.

NR 2.5

900–2500 nm: Delivers the broadest coverage for maximum compound identification and robust model development, valuable for biotechnology, medical diagnostics, and advanced industrial applications.
